What is AI?
The question “What is AI? ” cannot have a single solution. since AI has many different definitions. Any simulation or computer programme that completes a job that calls for human intellect, such as pattern recognition or decision-making, is referred to as artificial intelligence (AI). A more specific definition of AI would be any computer programme that can play games like Go or Chess without the need for human intellect.
Who Invented AI?
The first artificial intelligence software was developed in 1956 by a team of researchers at Dartmouth College. Since then, AI has become an integral part of our lives, with applications in everything from medicine to manufacturing. But who invented AI, and how did it come to be what it is today?

A group of scientists lead by John McCarthy, who popularized the phrase “artificial intelligence,” produced the first AI software. McCarthy and his colleagues wanted to develop a computer software that had human-like reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
They developed a program called “Logic Theorist,” which was designed to prove mathematical theorems. While Logic Theorist was a success, it was only the beginning for AI. In the years since, AI has been used for everything from playing chess to diagnosing diseases. Today, AI is an essential part of our lives, and its potential is only beginning to be explored.
