The elder, Dante Hyron, sends Veradin to a big fighting tournament called the Cosmos tournament to see how good of a fighter he is. When Veradin gets there, he sees that Jin is also competing in the tournament, which makes Veradin happy because Jin is a great fighter and it makes the tournament more exciting.
In another scene, Dante Hieron comes into Jin’s room looking exhausted and asking for a place to rest for the night. Jin is cautious because he doesn’t know Dante very well, but Dante is so tired that he falls to the ground before finishing his sentence.
