Anjuna beach is situated in the northern part of Goa and is one of the prettiest beaches in North Goa. What makes it special is the color of the water (blue) and the sand (white) and its strange rock formation. One can experience the thrill and joy of water sports like snorkeling, scuba diving, banana boat ride, jet skiing. Bumper ride, paragliding, etc. and some other attractions are its flea market and its parties.
Aguada fort is situated in Candolim town and is the most popular tourist place in North Goa. It was made during the reign of Portuguese in the 17th century. You have to buy a ticket for the entry and in there, you can spot a lighthouse and have a delightful view of waves of the Arabian sea.
Candolim beach is situated in the Candolim town of northern goa. This beach is famous for its shacks that serve famous Goan food and drinks. It’s one of the biggest beaches in goa. Here You can have heavenly midnight beach walks as it is very peaceful at night over there.
THE CHURCH OF OUR LADY OF IMMACULATE CONCEPTION:
The Church of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception is located in Panjim. What makes it captivative is its architecture and its unique zigzag style staircase. We can catch the sight of this church in so many Bollywood movies as well. It is one of the most visited tourist places in goa.
BASILICA OF BOM JESUS :
Basilica of Bom Jesus is one of the oldest yet magnificent churches in goa. It was built over 400 years ago and represents the Portuguese architecture and is very renowned in goa because it has the mummy of st. Xavier, which is taken out every ten years for the public. It is located in the old goa.

Butterfly beach is near Palolem beach. The most preferable way of reaching there is by boat as through land it would be a difficult hike from the forest and would cost you more time. The charm of this beach is its turquoise water and the small sea creatures you could witness in the water.
Dudhasagar falls are considered to be one of the tallest falls in India with about 310 m of height. There are different ways of reaching these falls but the most preferable and convenient is this one- you can take the help of google maps and use your vehicle or any taxi to reach the point.
Where you’d have to park your vehicles, then from there, you’d have to buy tickets to reach the trek point by the jeeps provided by the government as it’s not permitted to take your vehicles beyond this point. And after that, you’d have to trek for 10-15 minutes, and then there you are at this beautiful destination. It’s pure bliss for an adventurous soul as You can go for a swim and can admire the fascinating views from the falls and its nearby places.
CABO DE RAMA FORT:
Cabo de Rama’s name is derived from a Hindu epic Ramayana as it is believed that lord ram and sita took shelter here. The Fort has beautiful scenic views from every corner because of all the greenery and sea and which also make the temperature low with a nice cool breeze. There’s a small church inside the fort to see and it has restaurants too within the walking distance. It’s surely an amusing and pleasant place to visit.
NETRAVALLI WILDLIFE SANCTUARY:
Netravali wildlife sanctuary is one of the best places to pay a visit if you want to explore the adventurous and wildlife side of goa. It has various species of flora and fauna, various birds like great pied hornbills, Nilgiri wood pigeon, grey-headed bulbul, etc. and animals like giant squirrels, slender loris, etc. It’s a wonderful place to live in the natural world.
Calangute beach is the most popular beach of south goa. This beach is always crowded with tourists.
