Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) is going to launches a free treatment Ayushman scheme to the people of Jammu and Kashmir today.
PM Modi carried out the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) health scheme in Jammu and Kashmir through video conferencing.
Lt. Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha is also present in this program.

During this, Union Minister Amit Shah said, ‘Today is an important day for Jammu and Kashmir because today is going to be the beginning which will concern the health of even the smallest citizen of Jammu and Kashmir.
15 lakh families will get all the health facilities up to 5 lakh free, this scheme is being started for every Kashmiri siblings today.
PM Modi wants to see rapid development and improvement in the standard of living of people in Jammu and Kashmir.
He says that democracy should reach the grassroots and wish for peace and security for the people of the state: Union Minister Amit Shah
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said, ‘I would like to mention that more than 10 lakh farmers of Jammu and Kashmir have received financial assistance under PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme.
He said, ‘Recently, three-dimensional grassroots democracy was established in Jammu and Kashmir with the DDC elections. I thank the people of Jammu and Kashmir for participating in the elections. The elected DDC members will take oath on 28 December.
