It also happens on a wide variety of different maps. Each has the spookier atmosphere of the Evil Dead series’ best settings, but meaningfully influences how each side approaches the match.
All the while, players have tasks to complete, from locating objects to killing and possessing one’s rivals to creating an unwilling ally. Although they fall into the camp of simple tasks meant to add gameplay, these feel like natural and necessary parts of matches and keep them fresh even after doing them a thousand times.
It’s made even better by the fact that the gameplay is great to play. Aside from a bit of bugginess at launch, the title is one of the best-playing horror multiplayer titles out there thanks to its responsive controls, effective combat, and delightful minute-by-minute gameplay.
It’s everything fans could hope for, and the game will easily be one of the best horror multiplayer titles for years to come.
Call Of Duty Modern Warfare II
Instead of sitting on its laurels and leaving the gameplay untouched, Infinity Ward has been busy fine-tuning movement mechanics, overhauling weapon progression and unlock systems, and even introducing new and exciting game modes – including a third-person mode. . It all comes together to give Modern Warfare 2 a different feel, and with the promise of more weapons, maps and cosmetics coming in future ‘seasons’, there’s reason enough to be optimistic about this year’s CoD multiplayer offering.

The switch to a 5v5 format seemed questionable at first, but it quickly proved to be a refreshing change of pace for the game. Gone are the unbearable shield metas, matches are now much faster and every hero honestly feels like they’re in a pretty good place right now. It’s not really something you can say at any point in Overwatch’s lifespan, which is a testament to how balanced Overwatch 2 is.
A few mistakes were made, such as removing iconic maps like Hanamura, but the introduction of a new push mode and interesting heroes like Kiriko, Sozorn, and Junker Queen definitely helped bring new life to Blizzard’s iconic shooter. There are still a few issues to iron out—the battle pass system is understandably polarizing and still locks heroes back at high levels—but the only thing really stopping Overwatch 2 from regaining prominence is Blizzard.
Call of Duty Warzone 2.0
Sure, there’s a divide among the Slow Movement community, and the new Al Mazrah map has seen mixed reviews, but Warzone 2.0 still has the same excitement to play. It’s signature Call of Duty gunplay paired with the evergreen fun of battle royale design. There’s also new DMZ stuff to get stuck into, introducing an addictive escape from the Tarkhov-style grinding loop into the equation. For those who also played Modern Warfare II, this obviously blends into that experience as well, making for a robust multiplayer package that we can imagine playing for many months to come.
Warzone 2.0 might be a familiar experience, but when the cams are good and the thrill of reaching the top 5 or more teams, nothing puts a bigger smile on our faces!
