The Callisto Protocol is finally here after years of work by Dead Space creator Glenn Schofield. Players assume the role of Jacob Lee, who finds himself a prisoner in Callisto’s Black Iron Prison. What starts as a prison sentence turns into a fight for his life as the Black Iron Prison is overrun by vicious mutant zombies.
Living in jail is not easy and it is even tougher for all the achievement hunters and completionists playing this game. Callisto Protocol has a trophy that requires players to complete the game on the hardest difficulty, and it’s very clear that the hardest difficulty is really, really hard.
However, a clever little workaround has been found to ease the rage-inducing moments. Kinda Funny co-founder and former IGN video host Greg Miller found that players looking to earn “The Protocol is About Life” achievement can easily play through the game on any difficulty and earn the hardest trophy.
All you have to do is defeat the final boss, change the difficulty to “Maximum Security”, run through the rest of the segment, and the tool will unlock.
